Kim Kardashian Reveals Post-Baby Weight Loss Secrets, How She Dropped 25 Pounds

It goes to show that Kim Kardashian is feeling great about her looks just months after giving birth to a beautiful baby daughter, all thanks to her secret diet that helped her shave off 25 pounds.

With her recent appearances, the 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star has been dedicated on bringing back her sultry looks before she got pregnant with Kanye West's baby. Just weeks after baby North West's birth, the reality star has been seen donning body-hugging outfits and even dying her hair blonde to match the changes she has been experiencing as a mom.

Her confidence and attitude can be attributed to the secret diet Kim has been engaging herself with, and it is no other than the celebrity-applauded Atkins diet. The diet, which has the distinct quality of being low on carbohydrates and starch, has been helping new moms, especially new celebrity moms, to whip back into shape quickly after birth.

"I've actually been doing the Atkins diet & luv it," reveals Kardashian in her Twitter account.

Many stars, including Catherine-Zeta Jones, Demi Moore, and even the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, have all undergone the Atkins diet, and it's no surprise why all of them are able to maintain their fit physiques even under the changes in metabolism after birth.

"What distinguishes the Atkins diet is the absence of a lot of carbohydrates, so that leaves out a lot of choices. You can make bad choice and good choices, but there's nothing dangerous about the Atkins diet. There really isn't a downside to it," says weight-loss expert, Jonny Bowden, as reported by E! Online.

"Low-carb eating is the healthiest way to go and I completely support that, but you have to really change your relationship with food," continues Bowden in the same report

It's no surprise how Kim quickly bounced back from all the weight she gained from pregnancy, especially that she is pairing the Atkins diet with rigorous trainings and exercise.

"I haven't in 20 years of practice seen any real negative effects on someone that follows a low-carb diet regularly using good foods and a smart approach" adds Bowden, debunking myths that state Atkins might not be the "safest" form of dieting.
