Celebrity-Inspired Halloween Costumes: Breaking Bad, Miley Cyrus, Gravity and More

The season of dressing up is here, and to kick-start all Halloween costume preparations, here are some ideas from the hottest and trendiest celebrities that will make the scary season more interesting!

If a fun costume party with friends is coming up, it would be fun and titillating to dress up as Miley Cyrus and Robin Thicke. Girls can wear the beige spandex underwear (skin-toned body sleeves are optional) or bear swimsuit Miley donned during the MTV Video Music Awards, complete with a foam finger and pigtail up-do to match the controversial singer's outfit. Guys can opt for a black and white striped Beetlejuice-like tuxedo Thicke wore during their performance.

For the less daring couples, the option of dressing up as Breaking Bad's Walter White and Jesse Pinkman is the way to go. This is a fairly easy costume to prepare: a couple of yellow hazmat suits and biohazard masks will do the trick. Also, toting around bags of crystal blue meth-like substance give this costume the realistic kick.

Another interesting and exciting costume idea for pairs is to go as The Walking Dead's Rick Grimes, with a zombie, or "walker." To get the look of Rick, one would need a sheriff's costume with a hat, a fake rifle or a handgun, and the attitude to kill zombies.  The girl can of course, dress up as a zombie that can be achieved in many ways: just a YouTube tutorial on how to apply zombie make-up and a tattered shirt will make one look like a gruesome "undead."

One more fun costume idea for couples is to go as Sandra Bullock and George Clooney's characters, Ryan Stone and Matt Kowalski from fall's hit movie, Gravity. This is fairly easy to do: just wear astronaut suits and everyone will take a laugh at how accurate your costumes are.

And lastly, the millions of fans of the AMC hit series, Mad Men, will high-five the idea of dressing up as advertising executive, Don Draper and his actress wife, Megan Draper. A tailored grey suit matched with a sleek brushed-up hairstyle will complete the Don Draper look; while a groovy printed 60's-inspired short dress paired with a black wig for the ladies screams Megan Draper. Holding drinks in hand while smoking cigarettes will give this costume idea the right finish.
