Find Out Which Fall 2013 New TV Shows Are Heading For Cancellation

It is perhaps saddest news ever for show fans, who belong to the relatively small audience of these new fall shows, and whether they like it or not, TV Networks are very likely to press the cancel button for this Fall 2013 offerings to give way to more profitable business. ABC is obviously the busiest network this Fall following the debut of its freshman series this season, but quantity over quality doesn't always speak volumes; hence, we will surely witness some of its shows getting dumped similar to the fate of "Lucky Seven." Now, judgment day is fast approaching for Fall 2013 TV shows, and here are 7 new Fall series that are nowhere close to landing another season.

1. ABC's "Back in the Game"

"Back in the Game" may be downright funny, but viewers are not digging its "Bad News Bears" vibe with only a minimal lead-in and a few DVR playbacks each episode. As early as now, ABC has no plans of requesting more episodes as well as picking it up for another season.

2. FOX's "Dads"

Compared to the already-renewed "Brooklyn Nine-Nine," FOX's "Dads" isn't scoring well. However, DVR playbacks suggest that it has potential. Thus, it is safe to say that the network will allow this show to finish its run until the end of 2013, but there is no silver lining for its second inning.

3. ABC's "Betrayal"

As mentioned earlier, the alphabet network seems to be pretty busy this season. Apparently, viewers are not retorting the efforts it invests on its new fall shows. Its new soap does not have the best of luck either, with only 5 million viewers on its premiere episode and a million being slashed each episode, it is not surprising that Betrayal is ending too soon.

4. CBS's "Hostages"

Hostages is already done with its initial plan of running fifteen hours for its first season, and surely CBS does not need to order more episodes for the show. Given its very low ratings among adults under 50, it's one of this season's biggest bummer although it is doing well when DVR playbacks are being considered.

5. ABC's "Once Upon A Time In Wonderland"

Compared to its mother show, Once Upon A Time IN Wonderland isn't actually the hot item or the talk of the town. Each week, more and more of its relatively small audience seem to dissent from viewing it on its primetime airing. ABC is now planning to just make it reach a half-season prior to cancelling it.

6. ABC's "Super Fun Night"

ABC may have considered the idea that Rebel Wilson's popularity the moment she portrayed "Fat Amy" in Pitch Perfect, she could be their heroine for their comedy shows. Although it was party true the moment "Super Fun Night" premiered, the ratings of the show simply plummeted with each succeeding episode. The ABC comedy is now questionable when it comes to landing another season.

7 ABC's "Trophy Wife"

And yes, we are down to the final one and it is no other than the lowest-rated fall offering from ABC. Trophy Wife is finishing behind the also struggling FOX series 'The Mindy Project.' And even if we tally the DVR playback data for this one, there is still no hope for the show to establish a solid audience and to get picked up for another season. It's quite odd for something that is receiving positive reviews to obtain such low ratings. But hey at least Trophy Wife still has a few more episodes to air this season.
