Canadians Are Prone To Engage Into Threesomes, Moresomes & Risqué Sex Acts, A New Study Reveals

When you think of Canada or the people residing the True North, the last thing that would come into mind would most probably be sexually adventurous. We can't blame you though Canadians are always tagged reserved for some reason. However, that stigma has already changed after Playtex and Environics Research Group revealed through a study that Canadians are actually very prone to engaging into threesomes, moresomes, and even risqué sex acts.

According to the study, about one in five adults or 22 percent of the citizens in Canada are sexually active. And the same number has admitted that they have simultaneously engaged into having sex with two or more partners whenever possible.

Meanwhile, about 29 percent of the remaining population openly claimed that they are actually open to the idea of having a threesome or even a moresome someday.

Additionally, the study by Playtex and Environics Research Group also unraveled other sexual behavior techniques that Canadians often do. And based on the nationwide sex survey, a significant percentage of the Canadian population freely engages into sexual acts as often as they want too.

"There's a stigma about Canadians being somewhat reserved," Playtex Brand Manager for Its Feminine Care Product Sohana Samanta said. "But some of the greatest findings in this survey speak to the fact that Canadians are a lot more adventurous and sexually uninhibited than we believed... I mean, eight per cent of Canadians have had sex in a canoe."

"I don't personally know anyone who's had sex in a canoe, or even how you'd go about that," Senior Research Associate Sean Copeland said. "But I do know canoe usage is quite high in North America."

Samanta also talked about the company's very controversial marketing campaign for its Fresh + Sexy wipes. The campaign features varying images of a peach, a beaver, a door knob, and a woodpecker. However, all of these seem to have innuendos that are best described by their carnal double-entendre slogans.

"It's obviously edgy," Samanta said adding that although the publication is expected to roll out nationwide, some publications refuse to run it or simply run teasers from the full advertisements. "We're trying to capitalize on what we've found out about sexually active Canadians."

On the other hand, the survey also revealed that on average, a person has had 12 sexual partners in his lifetime while 23 percent of men and 13 percent of women claim that they have had 20 or more livers. Moreover, the study revealed that only 17 percent have been sexually monogamous.

Interestingly, when the respondents of the survey were asked on the frequency of their sexual adventures, 35 percent (mostly married) said that they only do love-making a few times a month. Conversely, 33 percent (mostly dating individuals) said they do it a few times a week.

When asked whether they feel satisfied every time they do it with their lovers, Ontario, Alberta, and Quebec citizens responded affirmatively while residents from B.C. and Atlantic Canada voiced out their complaints.
