Nicole Scherzinger and Formula 1 racer Lewis Hamilton may have a beautiful 2014 ahead of them as the celebrity couple have reportedly rekindled their longtime romance while they celebrated the New Year together.
The two recently made it known that they were present in the same party. However, Scherzinger and Hamilton carefully avoided mentioning each other's names and uploading any pictures with the two of them in the same frame when they shared their thoughts on Twitter.
"X Factor" judge Nicole Scherzinger shared a picture of her posing with Swizz Beat's wife Alicia Keys while F1 ace Hamilton posted a picture with Swizz Beats.
Scherzinger shared her happiness through the post, saying "What a #MAGICAL new years eve with friends and loved ones! Let's make 2014 the most #MAGICAL yet!"
The Pussycat Dolls lead also shared a tweet while vacationing in Aspen, saying, "What better way to kick off 2014 in God's Country! Praying and snow mobiling! #Everything! #Glorious!"
Nicole Scherzinger started dating the 28-year-old former F1 world champion shortly after the 2007 MTV Awards.
The pair's relationship has gone through its share of ups and downs, reportedly complicated due to their conflicting schedules and the distance between them, with Hamilton making his home in Switzerland and Scherzinger in the U.S.
The celebrity couple allegedly broke up in January 2010, with a similar rumor springing up in October 2011.
Reports also claim that Scherzinger and Hamilton had been on the brink of a nasty break up the previous summer, following infidelity rumors on Hamilton's part.
The official split between the two happened just a week after rumors claiming that Hamilton was ready to pop the big question surfaced. The Formula 1 racer was allegedly having a hard time coping with his break up with the X Factor judge.
"If you've found that special someone, don't EVER let them go no matter what!! Nothing in this world is more important," the racer posted on Twitter on Friday night. Hamilton also uploaded a picture of himself posing in his recording studio, captioning it with, "My hideaway - pouring my heart into this track!!"
This time, sources close to the couple claim that Hamilton is planning to pop the big question to Scherzinger this time, after realising "it's impossible for them to be without each other."
The two apparently reconciled over the holidays, after spending Thanksgiving together at Hamilton's parents' home in Hertfordshire.
