GoDaddy Bowl 2014: Football Madness At Its Finest Dying Seconds! [VIDEO & REPORT]

Ball State almost had the win, but in a blink of an eye, Arkansas State scored a touchdown in the final minute of the game to grab their eight straight win of the GoDaddy Bowl 2014 season, according to a report by SB Nation.

Arkansas State pulled out a 23-20 stunner over Ball State and won GoDaddy Bowl 2014.

With 90 seconds to go, it appeared that Ball State was about to win the match and they marched down the field to cap a 16-play, 80-yeard drive and a 1-yeard touchdown thanks to Jahwan Edwards. Ball State a 20-16 lead with more than a minute left.

All of a sudden, Fredi Knighten led a five-play touchdown drive after a short kickoff and found Allen Muse at the corner of the end zone with 32 seconds left to turn the tide with a score-ending match of 23-20.

Scott Secor's 38-yard field goal was blocked stopping Ball State's final opportunity to tie the game.

During the game's early stages, Ball State scored first on a 9-yard touchdown strike from Keith Wenning to Willie Snead in the middle of the first quarter. The two teams battled it out and exchanged field goals during the second quarter. Sirgregory Thompson, ASU's running back, played like a bully and made his way into the end zone just before the halftime to tie the score at 10-10.

It was all Red Wolves during the third quarter with Brian Davis hitting two more field goals to push Arkansas States lead to 16-10. Ball State responded with a 37-yard field goal to catch up with 16-13 early in the fourth quarter.

Wenning was intercepted for the seventh time by Qushaun Lee, but Fredi Knighten returned the favor two minutes later, though, his throw was intercepted in the end zone, which gave the ball back to the Cardinals. There was pandemonium in the game's final five minutes.
