Anderson Silva is Getting Ready for Rematch with Chris Weidman

Anderson Silva is planning a third fight with Chris Weidman even after his awful leg break last December.

The UFC fighter seems to negotiate a third fight with Weidman who have beaten him twice.

In their first fight at UFC 162, Weidman dominates Silva by winning the first round and a knockdown on the second. Then last year, December 29 was their second fight where Silva got his leg snap, ending his attempt to regain his crown.

During an interview, Silva watched his fight with Weidman and explained why he should have a third fight with the defending champion.

"No, I don't think (Weidman should consider it a win). It was an accident. And I'm pretty sure I would have won the fight.," said Silva in an interview at Globo.

He said that he saw some technical mistake on his part.

"To land the perfect kick, I needed to distract him by punching him in the face so he wouldn't pay attention to the kick. He was protecting the upper part of his body, and the raised leg instinctively. The kick was so strong he lost balance," he added, reassuring that Weidman won accidentally because of his accident.

Silva is definitely not retiring and would want a third fight with Weidman.

As for Weidman, he stated in his interviews that leg kicks are always part of his gameplan with Silva, and "accidental" kick from his opponent is totally absurd.

Though Silva's eagerness to go back at the ring and fight is strong, there is a big chance that his fight will never be the same again. Being in the profession for 16 years, he had made his own name in the field of MMA.

Some claimed that Silva's leg injury will force him to retire at UFC.

Ray Longo, Weidman's coach said in an interview with MMAjunki.com, "I just think he got dominated in both fights, and definitely doesn't deserve anywhere near a third fight, in my opinion."

Longo also claimed he has a lot of respect for Silva and will be willing to have a rematch if the his situation will get a little more serious and better in the future.
