Killer Women's pilot episode introduced to us the main premise of the show: the only female Texas Ranger is more badass than any of her colleagues and she is very committed to taking down anyone who has crossed the line and broke the law especially ballsy women. The protagonist, Molly Parker (played by Tricia Helfer), is of course driven by her own experience with her ex-hubby. It's fortunate that her new partner, Dan (Marc Blucas) is way better than her ex. In fact, we can see that these two have the makings of a perfect badass couple. This week, we will even be presented with the idea of the two getting serious and more intimate with one another. In a sneak peek to Killer Women season 1 episode 2 titled "Some Men Need Killing," we can see our target assassin aiming her gun at a man who is tied up and has somehow suffered some beating. The preview then says that a seriously dangerous female killer can only be stopped by a female Texas Ranger. We can see Molly doing some investigation on the case and we can also see her engaging into badass fight scenes. "I don't think you can eat that," Molly could be heard telling a man. When the man asks her why, she bluntly responds, "because it was baked by a serial killer." And we can see our assassin flashing a smile for Molly. Will she outwit our protagonist? Meanwhile, in an interview for SheKnows, actress Tricia Helfer dished about her character. "Molly is a strong personality for sure, but she's well-rounded," Helfer said adding, "She's not just a tough tomboy, she can dress up, she can be quirky or vulnerable. What attracted me to her initially was that she's just a well-rounded woman and not just one-note tough, as so many strong female characters are written.
