Perhaps many people became very curious about the famous basketball player's romantic exploits, or maybe a lot of people stumbled upon a circulating report lately that claims the young heartthrob is already engaged. In the most shocking news that hit the basketball court recently, Jeremy Lin is allegedly shopping for an engagement ring for his secret girlfriend. The report was published by Media Mass and it cited a newspaper article from American Sun-Times as the source of the shocking revelation. The news quoted an insider saying, "He's madly in love with her." Media Mass continued by claiming that many fans saw photos of the couple on social media and began to ask if the rumors were true.
However, because the report was vague and it didn't even provide the identity of Jeremy Lin's girlfriend, many slammed it as another hoax. Nonetheless, this led many people to question whether or not the 25-year-old professional basketball player is seeing someone right now or if he is indeed engaged just like what the circulating report claims.
In search of clues and info about Lin's love life, several photos surfaced this week, and many fans couldn't help but ask whether one of the said photos contain the real identity of Lin's girl.
First on the list is this photo above. Jeremy Lin could be seen placing his right hand on the beautiful lady's shoulder, implying that the two could have something going on as of late. But, fans especially Lin's die-hard lady fans can now rejoice as the woman in the photo is apparently Chinese actress and singer from Shanghai Huang Yi, who also goes by the name Crystal Huang or Betty Huang. The photo was reportedly taken during an NBA All-Star Weekend way back in 2011 in China. Local reports say that it wasn't clear if it was Lin who approached the beautiful actress to have their photo taken or if it's the other way around.
On the other hand, another photo is also being scrutinized by a lot of fans as of late since it has also surfaced on several sites and search engine. We are talking about the picture above which allegedly exposes Jeremy Lin's real girlfriend. Fortunately, some local and international outlets revealed that the photo was simply an picture taken during an interview when Lin was still on the Golden State Warriors. The woman in the photo was identified as Arden Cho, who happens to be an "over enthusiastic and sometimes annoying" fan of the player.
Interestingly, the above photos also gained significant traction since they were believed to be photos of Jeremy Lin's girlfriend when he was still in college. The name of the girl was not revealed, but according to pertinent information from Alek Blankenau, who played with Jeremy at Harvard, Lin did have a girlfriend back then, but Blankenau refused to give her name. Instead, he dished that Jeremy's ex-girlfriend was a devout Christian just like the 25-year-old player. However, he also said that the two mutually broke it off.
As of late, several reports and news sites claim that Jeremy Lin does not have a girlfriend right now since he is preoccupied with his sport. He is currently playing for the Houston Rockets.
