Former Olympics Athlete Rachel Frederickson is 2014's 'Biggest Loser'

Rachel Frederickson, former Olympics athlete, is 2014's "Biggest Loser."

Hard work does pay off and in former Olympics athlete Rachel Frederickson's case, the effort she put into shrinking to 105 lbs has made her US$250,000 richer as this year's winner of the hit reality show "The Biggest Loser."

According to the Daily Mail, Rachel Frederickson is barely recognizable on Tuesday after the former Olympics athlete shed 60 percent of her original weight.

The one-time world renowned athlete lost nearly 160 lbs and cut an incredibly fit figure in a silver dress as she received the title from the latest season of "The Biggest Loser."

Frederickson appeared the obvious winner between the three finalists as soon as she walked out on stage at the Hollywood live finale of the show.

Frederickson also earlier said the TV show helped in changing her from an "unhappy, sad girl into this girl that is so confident."

"I've found her - I'm never going to let her go," said Frederickson.

The former athlete added that her newfound confidence was worth more than the title or any cash prize.

"This journey already has been life changing," Frederickson explained. "It would just sweeten it all up to stand on that scale and know that you are The Biggest Loser."

Former Olympics athlete Rachel Frederickson beat two other finalists, David Brown and Bobby Saleem, to take home the title. Brown came in second after shedding 222 lbs during the season and Saleem managed to lose 188 lbs to finish in third.
