NBA Free Agents 2014 Rumors: Dwyane Wade Wants To Stay With Miami Heat

The "Big Three" era in Miami could end this summer as superstars LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh are all expected to opt out of their respective contracts to become free agents.

Most league executives are convinced that the three superstars, who are expected to be pursued by several teams with cap space to offer maximum deals, will consider signing elsewhere especially if the Heat fail to win their third-straight title this season, but Wade has no other plan in mind.

In an interview with NBA analyst David Aldridge, Wade, who has spent his entire 11-year-career with Heat, said that he is not thinking about leaving Miami this summer.

"I want to be here. I think that's always the things I've always said and I've always expressed," Wade said. "And after that, I want to win. I don't want to be in a situation where I'm starting over and I'm rebuilding. I want to win. And I want to be on a team that has an opportunity to do that, and feel like I'm a big part of that."

But while he can't see himself leaving Miami at this point of his career, Wade sounded like he has already made up his mind that he will opt out of the final year of his contract.

Wade said that having options is beneficial to him - not because he can choose a team where he wants to play in, but it would give him a chance to negotiate another long term deal with his current team.

"As players, having options is good. Because you don't know what is to happen or what is to come. So for us, I think we're in a great situation. Guys have options as players, and they can exercise those options," Wade said.

The 32-year-old superstar did not directly talk about the impending free agency of James and Bosh, but Wade hinted that he feels both superstars will eventually decide to stay in Miami.

"We're on a very good team," Wade said. "We enjoy each other. We enjoy this city and we enjoy playing for this organization, and that's what we're going to continue to do."
