Mick Jagger To Receive $9 Million Estate From The Late Fashion Designer L'Wren Scott

The late fashion designer, L'Wren scoot is leaving her $9 million estate to her longtime lover Mick Jagger. The couple were in a relationship since 2001, until she committed suicide almost two weeks ago.

The designer was found dead on her New York City apartment by her assistant on March 17, she was 49 years old. The New York City medical examiner confirmed that Scott died by hanging herself. Some sources speculated that financial issues from the designer's fashion business could have been an integral part on her suicide.

L'Wren Scott's recorded birth name was Lu Ann Bambrough, and she signed her last will in Beverly Hills, California, on May 23, 2013. The designer's Manhattan apartment is considered to be her main asset.

"I give all my jewelry, clothing, household furniture and furnishings, personal automobiles, and other tangible articles of a personal nature...to Michael Philip Jagger," Scott wrote in her will, according to a document released by the Manhattan Surrogate's Court Thursday.

According to public records, L'Wren Scott estimated estate value is around $9 million. The designer's two siblings, brother Randall Bambrough, and sister Jan Shane, was not included to her last will. It is believed that Scott was a bit estranged with her family, and representatives from the designer's family could not be reach indefinitely.

The remains of L'Wren Scott was cremated this Tuesday, in Los Angeles City, at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery with a private ceremony. Mick Jagger attended the intimate service together with his family. High security was also visible during the ceremonials, while only a handful of guests were allowed to attend.
