The Cara Delevigne Effect: The Eyebrows That Launched A Thousand Products

Some people have very distinct physical characteristics, for some- it is the slant, the color of their eyes, the crook of their nose, or the fullness of their mouth(Angelina Jolie owns the corner market on that) but for Cara Delevigne, she is most known for her dark, full eyebrows.

The 21 year-old English model, socialite, actress' name and face is recognisable because she's been everywhere, she's been seen everywhere. She's making quite a name for herself already given the title BFA's Model of the Year (during Fall 2012) and having been the dubbed the hottest model to come since Kate Moss.

Delevigne was first noticed when she appeared in Burberry's spring/summer 2011 campaign, which generated positive feedback consequently she was asked to become the face for Burberry's next spring/summer campaign the next year and is the current face for Burberry's Beauty campaign alongside Edie Campbell and Jourdan Dunn, her fellow Briton models.

She has since been featured on other advertising campaigns such as the H&M Authentic Collection, Dominic Jones Jewelry, Blumarine, Zara and Chanel, DKNY and YSL. She has graced the covers of many fashion magazines such as Vogue (UK and Korea) and Jalouse. She has also walked down the catwalk modeling for Dolce and Gabbana, Stella McCartney, Oscar de la Renta and Victoria's Secret to name a few.

But more often as of late we have seen and read all about this girl shenanigans-

that she has no qualms posting all over her social media accounts (which she's free to do we tend to forget that she's still young and twenty one) with the required selfies, kissy photos-a lot of them (she's even kissed Kate Moss and Sienna Miller) she posts fairly regularly on her tumblr account particularly  her behind the scenes on her modeling gigs and of course some professional photos, some silly quotes here and there.

And still with the many controversies behind this girl (dating Michelle Rodriguez) she still remains the darling of the media-with one of the largest fan base with 1.8 million twitter followers, 4,869,435 followers on Instagram, and her tumblr posts averaging 100,000 plus likes per post.  

She was even included in "London's 1,000 Most Influential of 2011", in the category of "Most Invited" according to the Evening Standard

As of last March she was put in the list of 100 Makers of the 21st Century for The Sunday Times Magazine "" list of influential British people."  and also ranked number 5 on Models.com's 50 Top Models list.
