Sylvester Stallone Dies at 67: Actor Reportedly DEAD After Tragic Accident

Sylvester Stallone has died at 67. At least that's what circulating reports claim. The "Rocky" actor reportedly died after a tragic accident in Switzerland, and fans couldn't help but send out their condolences and sympathy to the friends and family of Sylvester Stallone.

On June 11, Global Associated News published a report claiming that 67-year-old actor-producer Sylvester Stallone has died while vacationing in Switzerland with his family and friends.

"The actor & novice snowboarder was vacationing at the Zermatt ski resort in Zermatt, Switzerland with family and friends. Witnesses indicate that Sylvester Stallone lost control of his snowboard and struck a tree at a high rate of speed," the said report read.

"Sylvester Stallone was air lifted by ski patrol teams to a local hospital, however, it is believed that the actor died instantly from the impact of the crash. The actor was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident and drugs and alcohol do not appear to have played any part in his death," the report said of the alleged accident the actor experienced prior to his death.

However, it was found out that Global Associated News is a notorious site that generates fake reports especially those that tackle celebrity deaths.

Several sites that picked up the news story about Sylvester Stallone's alleged death even clarified the issue by slamming the site as notorious and fake.

International Business Times UK reported that Global Associated News "has developed a reputation for spreading false reports about celebrities' deaths." On the other hand, the Tehran Chronicle remarked that the said site "specializes in spreading death hoax's of celebs."

There is no truth in the circulating report about Sylvester Stallone's death. In fact, the actor is currently still alive and kicking while promoting for his upcoming movie "Expendables 3," which also stars several A-list actors including: Arnold Schwarzenegger, Mel Gibson, Jason Statham, Randy Couture, Dolph Lundgren, Antonio Banderas, Wesley Snipes, and Harrison Ford, among others.

Sylvester Stallone joins a long list of actors who became victims of circulating death hoaxes. The list include Reese Witherspoon, Denzel Washington, Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, Bill Cosby, and Robert Pattinson.

Sylvester Stallone or his rep is yet to comment on the circulating hoax.
