Jennifer Caswell Mississippi - A 28-year-old Oklahoma teacher named Jennifer Caswell is recently under fire for raping a teen student and was even caught in the act in a Mississippi hotel room, Huffington Post has learned.
According to authorities, after getting caught in Mississippi, Jennifer Caswell was put under investigation for having an illicit relationship with a 15-year-old student.
The former English teacher at Hollis Middle School in Oklahoma reportedly resigned from her previous job way back in April after speculations that she was having a sexual relationship with the teen boy surfaced.
Prosecutors admitted at the time that they didn't have any solid evidence against Caswell back then and the allegations were mostly based on the English teacher's suspicious behavior.
"Things that raised kind of an eyebrow. People seeing a teacher alone with a child may or may not be anything. It could just be innocent contact," Harmon County Assistant District Attorney Eric Yarborough said. "The child said nothing's going on, she's just a nice teacher."
However, on June 18, Police in Olive Branch said that they found Jennifer Caswell in Mississippi with the student at a Best Western hotel.
Following which, authorities found out through subsequent investigation that Caswell and the student had sex multiple times from April to May this year, and they even found out that the two did it twice at school.
In an interview after the two were caught in a hotel in Mississippi, Jennifer Caswell's victim said that they had sex at school about three days before the embattled teacher resigned and they did it several times in her car and even at the student's home.
The latest of their illicit tryst happened in Mississippi when Jennifer Caswell traveled from Oklahoma just to have sex with the boy who was at the time visiting his mother.
After Jennifer Caswell's Mississippi arrest, she was charged with several crimes under her married name, Sexton, in Harmon County District Court with three counts of second-degree rape, two counts of enticing a child and one count of forcible sodomy.
Jennifer Caswell's Mississippi arrest comes just a few weeks after a 6th grade Arkansas teacher was charged with rape of a 13-year-old student.
