Boxing News 2014: Kell Brook Believes He Can Score Knockout Win Against Amir Khan

Kell Brook sent another challenge to Amir Khan, and the reigning IBF welterweight champion said that his fellow Briton should be man enough to accept the offer for an All-British showdown.

In an interview with Sky Sports, Brook reiterated that he is willing to face Khan anytime soon, while also expressing confidence that he has the tools to score a knockout win against the Bolton, England native.

"It's a huge fight, every single fan in Britain wants to see that fight and I want to knock the guy out and show everyone that I'm the No. 1," Brook said.

Brook boosted his stock after scoring a majority decision win against Shawn Porter in their welterweight title showdown on Saturday at the Stubhub Center in Carson, California.

After the fight, Brook called out Khan, saying that they should give British fans the fight that they are looking asking for over the past several months. On Wednesday, the 28-year-old reaffirmed his interest in facing the former light welterweight champion.

"Coming from me, you've heard it many times that I want the fight. You've heard it from him, he wants the fight. Let's sign the contract and make it happen," Brook said. "He's said that I've never proved myself. I've gone to America, to the American's backyard and took the title from him. I'm now the world champion, let's make the fight happen."

Brook expressed confidence that a showdown between Khan could become a blockbuster, and could fill out any venue, including the Wembley Stadium where the Carl Froch-George Groves rematch drew around 80,000 spectators in May.

"It's going to be massive. I think it will sell out any arena in Britain and everybody will be talking about it," Brook said. "I think me fighting him - it's been going on that long - I think the tactics will go out the book and we'll just meet in the centre of the ring and have a brawl. His style and my style, I think, will definitely gel. He's got quick hands, quick feet and he's very exciting."
