Lindsay Lohan Crash Case Is Over After 'Mean Girls' Star Paid Suing Truck Driver; LiLo Getting Away With Lying To Authorities?

Lindsay Lohan's crash case has apparently been settled in a not so professional way after the "Mean Girls" star agreed to take full responsibility for the car crash that happened almost 3 years ago.

According to TV3, Lindsay Lohan's crash case happened in 2012 when the Porsche 911S LiLo rented crashed into a truck along the Pacific Coast Highway, causing significant damage amounting to $80,000.

It can be noted that during the initial proceedings of Lindsay Lohan's crash case, the controversial actress claimed in a conversation with authorities that it was her assistant who was behind the wheel when the accident happened.

Nevertheless, just this week, despite having lied in court, truck driver James Johnson, who was suing the former Disney child star for mental and physical suffering, has now decided to take the matter out of court and come up with an agreement that is in his favor, TMZ has learned.

Johnson's lawyer, Carrington Snyer, said that Lohan, who is currently working on her West End debut in "Speed-The-Plow," is taking full responsibility for the incident.

And it appears that the "Just My Luck" star got even luckier since her insurance company has decided to pay for the undisclosed amount instead.

The exact details of the settlement are not available as of late, noted Perez Hilton.

For her part though, Lindsay has completed a 90-day rehab stint which was ordered by the court following the car crash and the lying incident.

In a guesting on "The Tonight Show" early this year, the "Herbie: Fully Loaded" actress shared that her legal troubles were all in the past and that she's very thankful to Oprah Winfrey for helping her recover and get back on track, according to MSN Entertainment.

"That is the past. I feel really lucky to be able to work with someone like Oprah and create. I have a really strong bond with her where I can call her for advice and she has become someone I can learn from in life," she said at the time.
