Islamic State jihadis displayed seized Syrian Air Force Fighter Jets in a propaganda video showing the massacre of over 200 prisoners.

The ISIS militants have supplemented Syrian Air Force fighter jets to their mounting armory after seizing an airbase where the vicious insurgents massacred up to 200 prisoners. No less than three planes were exhibited in a publicity video by the jihadis following the combat for the al-Tabqa Syrian Air Force base two weeks ago.

The CNN acquired video footage showed the ruthless ISIS combatants posing with immobile jets and waving the black flag however they were not seen in the air. It is indistinct whether the insurgents are adept of piloting, refilling and re-arming the Syrian Air Force jets, which could be potentially used against the government and rebel forces in Syria, along with Iraqi and Kurdish fighters and the US air assaults in Iraq.

Meanwhile, the ISIS militants reportedly had access also to massive amount of US weapons, which they were shifting to key battlegrounds as per the London-based Conflict Armament Research consultancy study. The reports depicted no inference about how the weapons were obtained. Yet the surrender of the Iraqi army in Northern Iraq on June gave the insurgents access to military armories in the northern part of the country, which were full of US-supplied assault rifles and ammunition along with heavy weapons.

Under the ISIS control at al-Tabqa, at least one tank, drones, heavy armaments, surface-to-air missiles and an ammo depot loaded with weapons was shown. Al-Tabqa is in the heart of Raqqa province which is now almost totally controlled by the ISIS militants and has developed its bona fide capital.

The battle for al-Tabqa air base that took place around August 24 was one of the deadliest so far which had recorded at least 346 ISIS deaths and 170 Syrian Air forces killed as per the Syrian Human Rights Observatory.

Hundreds of personnel, weapons and fighter jets have been expatriated by the Syrian Air Force to a new base in Deir al-Zour, which has since come besieged by the ISIS jihadis.

As per CNN Arabic, more than a few Syrian Air Force pilots were held captive along with their planes and helicopters at al-Tabqa and a social media statement from the ISIS insurgents demanded they were compelling the hostages to train militants to fly the seized aircraft. The ISIS rebels also claimed that they killed about 200 Syrian government prisoners after the combat and the publicity video presented men bared to their underwear being trailed into the desert, being enforced to lie face-down and shot.

As the ISIS militants continue its gory crusade to launch an Islamic caliphate in Syria and Iraq as combats wrath with Syrian Air Forces reinforced by Kurdish Peshmerga warriors and US air strikes, the new Iraqi Prime Minister, Haider al-Abadi was avowed in on Monday and is yearned for the reunification of the country's ethnic and religious blocs and the resurrection its government from the point of downfall.
