In a recent interview with Zap2It, Andrews gushed a thing or two about her role in the show after succeeding Brooke Burke-Charvet. "I was really, really nervous because I knew I had big shoes to fill, and it was something a little outside the box for me. I knew I was probably going to be completely different from any co-host they'd had before, so I was a little nervous to see how that would translate," she said. Andrews then quips that her confidence in taking on the role is all thanks to Bergeron's helping hand. "The first two or three shows, I didn't allow my sense of humor to really come out, and that was something that Tom kept stressing to me: 'Please just be yourself. That's why we wanted you.' ABC has released a couple of sneak peeks to the rehearsal of some of the dancing couples for DWTS Season 19. In one of the leaked clips, Tony Dovolani's partner, Betsey Johnson, says, That's the big thing I've got in my pocket," referring to her ability to do cartwheels at 72. She then quips, "I don't know if the other dancers do that, but every time we'll have a cartwheel-split. I just hope I make it a long time." On the other hand, Witney Carson's pair, former "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" star Alfonso Ribeiro, claims that he's out to prove his got the moves apart from the humor. What's really important to me is doing the dances the show is known for. I want to show whether I can dance or not before it becomes more silly and less serious."
