Vanessa Hudgens, Kim Kardashian Nude Photos Leaked Online; Avril Lavigne, Mary-Kate Olsen, Hope Solo Involved in Latest Hacking

Vanessa Hudgens and Kim Kardashian joined the list of celebrities who made headlines this month after nude photos of both stars were leaked online on Saturday.

Several photos of Hudgens showed the High School Musical star naked without any cover, while Kardashian was seen posting without clothing in a bathroom, using her Blackberry to take the picture.

Hudgens was involved in a similar incident in 2007 when she was still famous for his role in the "High School Musical" series, while the recent incident is also nothing new for Kardashian as controversial photos and videos of her also went viral before.

According to Buzzfeed, the recent leaked nude photos were also posted on 4chan and Reddit. Aside from Hudgens and Kardashian, several celebrities were also involved in the latest massive photo leaks as reported by the Chicago Tribune, including soccer star Hope Solo

"Mary-Kate Olsen, Avril Lavigne, Hayden Panettiere, Lake Bell, Leelee Sobieski and former Disney stars Aly and AJ Michalka are a few of the other potential victims," the Chicago Tribune reported. "A video of Aubrey Plaza and additional images of Jennifer Lawrence and "Big Bang Theory" star Kaley Cuoco were also allegedly released on Saturday."

Earlier this month, racy photos of Hollywood stars like Lawrence, Ariana Grande, Victoria Justice and Kate Upton along with boyfriend Justin Verlander were also released.

When the nude pictures went viral online earlier this month, Kardashian said: "I think it's a wake-up call for people to make sure they have every privacy setting. It seems like there are a lot of people that love to spend their time hacking peoples' information and that's just a scary thing."

Previous nude images were also posted on 4chan and Reddit earlier this month. But unlike during the previous massive leak, 4chan and Reddit quickly removed the photos on their website, citing their copyright infringement policy. Both website were criticized earlier this month for allowing such activities.

Reports indicated that the photos were obtained by the hacker by taking advantage of an iCloud glitch and Apple's "Find my iPhone" service. The Cupertino-based company launched an investigation, denying that their services had something to do with the controversy.

"After more than 40 hours of investigation, we have discovered that certain celebrity accounts were compromised by a very targeted attack on user names, passwords and security questions, a practice that has become all too common on the Internet," the company said in a statement. "None of the cases we have investigated has resulted from any breach in any of Apple's systems including iCloud or Find my iPhone."
