Bill Cosby's Rape Charges Made Meme-rable On His Request

Bill Cosby rape charges - The 77 years old actor and comedian (or whosoever is in charge of his Twitter handle) has made what is being described as the most regrettable decision in the stellar history of Mr Huxtable's public persona.

On Monday, Bill Cosby - out of the blue - invited fans to meme him. "Go ahead. Meme me! #cosbymeme," he wrote.

But the veteran, who has graced our screens since the 60s, could not have - in his wildest imaginations - contrived what the internet had to say to him.

It seems a majority of the memes produced focused on Bill Cosby's rape charges.

Eventually, his original tweet, which inspired the assault on his image, was taken down. Bill Cosby's rape charges have nonetheless been making rounds on the internet throughout the week.

Bill Cosby's rape charges originally made the news in 2004 after he was sued by a former Temple University employee Andrea Constrand. She claimed the actor drugged and had inappropriate sexual contact with her.

Shortly after her revelation, several other women came out - including at least one teenager - with similar Bill Cosby rape charges. Constrand had 13 Jane Does who were ready to testify before her case was abruptly dismissed after the accused and the plaintiff allegedly "resolved their differences." Since then, several of the accusers have disclosed their identities and granted interviews about their experiences.

This week, some fans have alluded to the fact that Bill Cosby's rape charges did not land him in prison because he could afford to pay off his accusers.

Bill Cosby's rape charges resurfaced last month after comedian Hannibal Buress accused the actor of having a complex, which makes him "talk down" on others.

"Yeah, but you rape woman, Bill Cosby, so turn the crazy down a couple of notches," he said.

It is unclear what lasting effect this public relations disaster will have on the storied career of the Emmy and Grammy award winner. TMZ says he has had to postpone an appearance on The Queen Latifah Show because of the fallout of Buress' comments.

There has been no official comment from the actor or any of his reps about the epic fail on Twitter. Bill Cosby is set to return to the big screen next month with gigs at Netflix and NBC.

A lot of things remain unclear at this point. But what seems clear is that Bill Cosby's rape charges won't go away - at least not with the internet still around.
