At last! The long wait is finally over as Universal Pictures released the "Pitch Perfect 2" trailer 2014. The trailer made its premiere on the "Ellen" show. The second installment of the hit music comedy film is slated for released on May 15, 2015.
"Pitch Perfect 2" is an upcoming musical comedy film directed and produced by Elizabeth Banks and written by Kay Cannon. It is a sequel to the 2012 film, "Pitch Perfect," which was roughly adapted from the non-fiction book of Mickey Rapkin entitled, "Pitch Perfect: The Quest for Collegiate A Cappella Glory." Its movie trailer was released this November 2014.
Movie stars Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, Skylar Astin, Brittany Snow and Anna Camp will reprise their roles in the upcoming "Pitch Perfect 2" sequel. It has been a long wait for the fans after they have a glimpse of its movie trailer this 2014. The Daily Mail reported the second installment of the film was confirmed last May.
In the "Pitch Perfect 2" trailer 2014, Rebel Wilson reclaims her hilarious role as Fat Amy along with Brittany Snow and Anna Kendrick and with the new addition of Hailee Steinfeld as Emily. In the movie poster, Barden Bellas stand side-by-side each other with the words, "We're back Pitches" inscribed.
The 2014 movie trailer of "Pitch Perfect 2" was posted by "The Ellen Show" on Nov. 20 on You Tube. Coming Soon.net reported that the Barden Bellas are back in the film as a follow-up to the 2012 summer smash hit. The musical comedy will be directed by Elizabeth Banks, who is also a co-star and producer of the film, and produced by Paul Brooks, Max Handelman and Banks herself. Writer Kay Cannon also returns to the team to write the film's next chapter.
Late last month, Rebel Wilson was spotted in Disneyland with her "Pitch Perfect 2" costars Hailee Steinfeld, Chrissie Fit and Kelley Jakle. She posted the photos on social media.
"Best day ever at Disneyland with the Bella crew," the Australian actress tweeted.
The "Pitch Perfect 2" movie poster was released on Nov. 18, 2014 and the trailer came out the following day. The movie sequel is set to be released in theaters on May 15, 2015.
