Bill Joel Beats Elton John For Breaking the Record in Performing at Madison Square Garden

Bill Joel is set to break the record as someone who has the most number of concerts for an artist in Madison Square Garden (MSG), as he is about to embark on his 65th show on July 15, 2015.

Broadway World said that Joel even broke Elton John's record who used to hold that title. Aside from his July show, he will also appear at MSG with shows lined up from January to June of 2015. The tickets for his January set are already sold out.

It was on December of 2013 that MSG revealed of Joel's first must franchise concert. The singer's success in the industry has made him sold about 150 million records in his lifetime and it's still counting. He is one of the most successful and most respected entertainers in the world up to this day.

According to Fox News, it is the artist's 19th concert as part of his residency in the stage of MSG while it is also going to be his 65th performance in the same arena. Joel has earned awards like the Grammy's and even the Kennedy Awards for his music and performances. He has gathered a lot of fans all over the world ever since he started in the music business even back in the 70's.

Fans can expect that he will perform his known hits like Vienna, Just The Way You Are and The Entertainer just to name a few during his concerts. MSG Entertainment is going to be leading Joel's career this time to break the record that Elton John has with their company.
