Sony Entertainment: ‘H1Z1’ PC Version to Come Out First, PS4 Game Delayed

Zombie apocalypse video game "H1Z1" PC version is set to release in fall 2015, Youth Health reported.

The PC version of the game will come out first because the PS4 type is still under development. The company has not announced yet the release date for PS4. Sony Online Entertainment President John Smedley emphasized the company's goal to produce high quality products.

"Though Sony Online Entertainment has stated multiple times already that they were planning on bringing it to the PlayStation 4 that will indeed be the case. We're SONY Online, so we have a certain level of quality we like to achieve before putting a game out. And the fact is it doesn't go out until we are happy with it," Smedley said, according to Breathe Cast.

Game enthusiasts are disappointed about the delay but the company promised a new adventure to look forward to. Game designer Adam Clegg has revealed that various character and weapons are added in "H1Z1."

"Coming soon we'll be testing out female characters, multiple character races, and even multiple new zombie types as well massive brawlers that won't let anyone stand in their way. Even more exciting is the upcoming military wearable system with tactical vest, helmets of all types, and Special Forces gear as well, Clegg said, Youth Health reported.

In addition, an Airdrop feature may be added, wherein planes will drop packages with different contents. Players may have to purchase the items but Clegg added that it is not always the case.  The game's senior designer Jimmy Whisenhunt confirmed the news.

"One of the things we're looking at is selling airdrops. We don't want to mess with the hardcore survival aspects, but ... once you order one, it spawns into the world. Players see the C130 spawn into the world, so you're giving other players the opportunity to jack your stuff," Whisenhunt said, according to Christian Today.

Meanwhile, the trailer for "H1Z1" zombie apocalypse game with the hash tag #MyEvilWays has reached over a million views in YouTube.
