On Wednesday, Miley Cyrus smoked and performed half naked at the Art Basel held at the Raleigh Hotel in South Beach, New York Daily News reported.
Cyrus performed in the international art show wearing a silver wig and thongs above her leotard. The singer talked about smoking marijuana.
"Usually I don't smoke weed and drink -- well that's a lie ... usually I don't smoke weed and drink on show days, but I felt like it was fine in Miami," Cyrus told the crowd.
After the spiel, Cyrus reportedly lit up a joint onstage and spoke about her challenges. "You thought (Art Basel) was a respected place where you could escape me. This year has constantly challenged me, and that's why I started doing art," the singer said.
In addition, the pop star played the piano while talking about her friend's dead cat. After a while, the songstress wanted to do something fun. Bubbles floated around as Cyrus performed with a rainbow head dress and with back up dancers wearing mushroom, shark and penis costumes, according to USA Today.
In respect to the art theme, Cyrus performed songs from The Beatles, Johnny Cash and Led Zeppelin. According to the singer, she understood the crowd's penchant for art so pop songs are probably unwelcome.
Art was visible in the whole event, some of the women in the audience resembled Cyrus' outfit. Body paints and thigh high boots were common attire. Plastic baby dolls also surrounded the pool area, according to AOL.
After the show, Cyrus accompanied by her new partner, Patrick Schwarzenegger went to Dream night club before transferring to Eleventh night club. The pop star changed into tights, jean shorts and only silver pasties covered her nipples, Huffington Post reported.
On Thursday, Cyrus did not fail to post several pictures of the show on Instagram. A photo of the singer wearing a black see through top was captioned: "You know the nights been a good one when you stole a shirt from a stripper."
