'Walking Dead' Cast Update: Norman Reedus Admits He Misses Entire Crew, Just Like The Show's Fans

The Walking Dead fans and cast Norman Reedus miss the show as it takes a mid season break, Design & Trend reported.

Fans are patiently waiting for the series to come back on February. Norman Reedus a.k.a Daryl Dixon misses the show as much as the followers do.

"I do too. You know, to be honest, I do too," Reedus said, according to Access Hollywood.

Reedus was asked about vacation tips while the show is on break.

"Take a vacation? Watch football?I don't really watch football either, but I will! I'll watch football and I'll take a vacation," Reedus suggested.

The cast of the popular zombie apocalypse series claim that they are like family and while the show is off the air, they definitely miss each other. The 45-year-old actor revealed how the cast communicates.

"It's kind of like, 'Hey guys, I miss you!'  It's sort of pathetic. It's, 'What are you guys doing? How are you?' ... We really like each other so it's constantly like, 'What are you doing? What are you doing? What are you doing? What are you doing?" Reedus revealed.

Speaking of the cast, Beth Greene played by Emily Kinney died in the mid season finale. The death of her character angered some fans and as a result, a petition to bring her back has started.

"Beth was a symbol of hope that a lot of women could relate to and see themselves in (especially self-harmers who saw her as someone who overcame their suicidal/depressive feelings). By sloppily killing her it just shows that she was used to further a man's (Daryl's) storyline," the fan said, The Inquisitr  reported.

Kinney has expressed that she would love to play the part again.  "Yeah, it would just depend on my schedule, but of course I would. I mean, I love being on set, I love working. Of course I would. I love working," the actress said.

The actress has shared a dramatic scene with Dixon in the last episode, wherein the crying actor carried her in a death scene.  The fan-favorite actor revealed how difficult the scene was since it was Kinney's final moment.

"It was rough. I won't lie, it was rough. She's such an amazing girl and such a great actress and what her character meant to our characters was a big deal, so to lose that was a very emotional day for everyone. It felt like you actually lost a friend," Reedus said.

Meanwhile, "The Walking Dead" returns on February 8 at 9 PM ET on AMC.
