Screaming Debate Happens When Whoopi Goldberg Slams Rosie O’Donnell on ‘The View’: ‘You are a white lady telling me what is racist’ [WATCH VIDEO]

"The View" has always been a platform for open minds and debates but the latest one has been one of the most striking topic so far after Whoopi Goldberg slammed Rosie O'Donnell on her sentiments about racism.

The hosts were discussing a report about Barack Obama being mistaken as a valet in an event. With this, Goldberg pursued the issue and said that this is an act of "stupidity, with Americans failing to identify the most important man in the country and the world."

However, O'Donnell interrupted suggesting there could be a bigger issue of racism included in this incident. This is when Goldberg lost it during their live show.

"You are white lady telling me what is racist to you," Goldberg shouted.

But O'Donnell did not back down as she responded, "I'm a gay American whose been called an [expletive]. I have a black kid at my house, Whoopi. I have a black kid I raise!"

But Goldberg fought through saying, "That is not the same thing."

"You don't have to be black to know what racism is," O'Donnell rebutted.

"Yes you do. American is not just a racist country, because there are white people who get it. That is why I cannot accept the blanket statement that American is racist," said Goldberg.

This heated debate happened a day after the two co-hosts had another brawl with Beverly Johnson, former supermodel, when they were discussing Bill Cosby rape allegations.

Johnson shared her experience with Cosby privately to Goldberg. When asked if she would be interested in doing an interview in "The View," she agreed only if Goldberg would be the one to interview her and if they would cut-out O'Donnell in the segment.

"Producers were willing to do whatever Beverly wanted to get her on the show and agreed to cut out Rosie as well as other co-hosts Rosie Perez and Nicolle Wallace," the source told Daily Mail.

"That infuriated Rosie," added the source. This move was said to be a "slap in the face" to O'Donnell after her vocal support for Cosby's alleged rape victims.

Her stance against Cosby is said to be one of the reasons why there's a friction going on between the two hosts.
