Cub Scouts Nudist Beach: Hiking Kids Catch A Eye Full After Ending Up At Nudist Beach

Cub Scouts Nudist Beach - Several preteens in a San Diego Cub Scout pack were left bewildered after they were forced to retrace their steps when they ended up at a famous nudist area at Torrey Pines State Beach on Jan. 24th.

The children are reported to have gone hiking along the coastline trails along with their cub master and adult volunteers when the incident happened.

According to NBC 10, Scout officials say the kids "encountered some individuals who were inappropriately dressed" at the end of their hiking journey. They were subsequently rerouted.

Although this part of the San Diego coastline is popular among hikers, it is unclear why the cub master, who organized the trip, failed to take precautions to prevent the children from ending up at the famous nudist area - known as Black's Beach. The cub master Desmond Wheatley has revealed to NBC 7 that he wasn't punished for the incident.

Diane Lekven, who was on the hiking trip with her son, told CBS 8 that Wheatley initially attempted to shrug off the fact that he was leading the kids through a nudist beach before they were rerouted.

"When I got up there I said 'Hey what are you doing? We're in the middle of a nudist beach.' He said 'This is a naturalist beach, and my family and I go through here all the time it's not a big deal.' And I got really angry," Lekven explained.

Reports indicate that the San Diego-Imperial Council held a meeting with parents to consider what course of action should be taken over the incident, before concluding that the "appropriate steps were taken in this matter." Meanwhile, the Boys Scouts has noted that the incident was not a direct violation of its policies.
