Girl's Generation Korean Girl Group Update: Yoona Thanks Members During UNICEF Campaign Video, Shares Pics With Chinese Actress Zhao Han

Girl's Generation member Yoona posed in a photo with Chinese actress Zhao Han and thanked members in an interview with UNICEF's "Not Alone Campaign," according to Kpopstarz.

The idol was asked in the video about the people who helped her in times of difficulties.  In reply, Yoona mentioned her "family, members, senior and junior singers, managers and friends." The singer added that without the people who helped here during hardships, she would have a more difficult time.

Yoona is not the only popular Korean idol who joined the "Not Alone Campaign" to thank supporters. Ahn Sung Ki, Kim Hye Soo and Super Junior member Siwon also appeared in the UNICEF campaign.

Aside from promoting a good cause, Yoona is also busy filming a drama with Han. The Chinese actress shared a photo on Weibo of herself and Yoona sporting identical hairstyles. Han blurred some parts of the photo with flowers to avoid giving too much details of the upcoming drama.

Yoona is busy with her acting career since she is the main character of the new drama "God of War Zhao Yun," which is an adaptation of a classic Chinese literature. The Girls' generation member stars in the drama with lead actor Lin Gengizn, K Drama Stars reported.

As for her musical career, Yoona with the rest of the Girl's Generation members are planning to release a new album this year. There are speculations that the Korean group is separating after Jessica Jung left to pursue her career as a fashion designer, according to Pop Dust.

Fans can now calm down since the rumors are not true. Although the girls did not reveal the exact release date of their new album, group member Yuri said that they are out to make a big comeback with a "more mature image."

In the press conference, Yuri announced that Girl's Generation's next album is in the works. The members are doing their best to showcase a new image for the upcoming release. Fans can look forward to a different Girl's Generation this year.

Aside from that, Girl's Generation is also working on a new Japanese track.
