Do You Want to Play 'Destiny' on Android? Here's an Unofficial App That Features 'Destiny' Remote Play

Android device owners can now play "Destiny" via an unofficial application, according to Game Rant.

The Remote Play feature in PlayStation 3 and 4 is only supported by PS Vita and some Sony Xperia smartphones. Users who have Android and iOs are searching for other ways to utilize the feature in their devices.

The app is called APK and can be downloaded in the Google Play Store. A YouTube video has been published showing how to set up the Remote Play in the Samsung Galaxy S3. The channel Nightmare TacoGaming explained the process of accessing the app and enjoying the game remotely.

The player must first download the APK and install it in the Android smartphone. In front of the PlayStation 4, open the Remote Play application and select Next. After that, the app should already be connected and the gamer can play "Destiny" until 2,000 miles far from the console.

In order for the connection to continue, the PlayStation 4 should be in Rest Mode. The Remote Play app will search the Internet to locate the console.

Since the app is unofficial, player should proceed with caution in using it. To get the desired results, a wired Internet connection is needed and the Remote Play feature on the console should be enabled.

In the original Remote Play feature wherein players are using the supported devices such as PS  Vita, the player must turn on the gaming consoles at first. After the game is set up, the gamer must enable the Remote Play feature and they can start playing in other parts of the house. If the player wants to go farther from the console, expect lags in playing "Destiny," therefore, it is better to stay in a safe distance so the game quality is not affected.

The fans' persistence to play "Destiny" in any gadget is not a surprise. The game is highly successful with more than 16 million registered users, The Guardian reported.
