‘Hannibal’ Season 3 [SPOILERS UPDATE!]: New Villain To Plot Retaliation Schemes Against Hannibal Lecter?

"Hannibal" Season 3 Spoilers - Although NBC has announced that "Hannibal's" new season won't be aired until summer, avid fans are still seeking for latest updates about the show's highly-anticipated television comeback. But what's really in store on its third season? One thing is sure, Hannibal's past will be extensively explored, KDramaStars revealed.

Based on the latest spoiler updates, "Hannibal" Season 3 will be a mash-up of two "Hannibal" novels namely, "Hannibal Rising" and "Hannibal." As we previously reported, the storyline will take disparate elements from the novels and combine them together as part of the thrust of the season.

"Hannibal" Season 3's summer premiere is still a mystery but anticipation has intensified towards the return of the hit psychological thriller drama series. Adding up to the excitement, showrunner Bryan Fuller has recently teased about some intriguing scoops of the show, Fashion & Style revealed.

Almost six weeks after revealing some details of "Hannibal" Season 3 Episode 3 titled, "Digestivo," on social media, Fuller gave loyal fans a taste of what episode 6 will be like. Careful not to give away too much, he revealed that the penultimate European adventure episode is "pretty bonkers," Enstarz shared. He also added that filming of the new season is nearly done with just few episodes left to shoot.

Meanwhile, fans can expect a new villain in the show's third season. According to Christian Today, Dr. Frederick Chilton (Raul Esparza) will be undergoing a big change in the new season as he plots schemes of retaliation against Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen). It was also revealed that Dr. Chilton already knew about Lecter's unusual practice, which resulted to him getting shot and almost dying. However this season, he will seek vengeance against his enemy.

"I think the more that happens to Chilton, the darker he gets," Esparza told HorrorHound Magazine. "And certainly his sense of humor rises up because he thinks he's better than everybody. I feel like the season taught him a lesson. And he's coming back with revenge on his mind. But he's not a fighter."

Esparza additionally mentioned that Chilton is finding another way to beat Hannibal. But he won't get physical, instead, he'd go psychological since Hannibal is a very mental character.

"Hannibal is smarter than him, and he's playing against a monster. And that in order to deal with a monster, you have to become one," Esparza said.

With all those details mentioned above, it seems "Hannibal" Season 3 is getting intense and fans are definitely excited about Lecter and Chilton's epic face-off. And for more updates and spoilers, just check out our site.
