Fox's "Empire" will soon enough wrap up its freshman run and show fans just can't get enough of the widely successful series. Good thing this Wednesday night, "Empire's" season 1 episode 10 titled "Sins of the Father" will keep them satisfied of the drama that the people at Empire Entertainment is facing. First, there's Taraji P. Henson's Cookie, who may have found a new lover in the person of Lucious' ally. How would the sick Empire leader react to this?
Based on the officially released sneak peek clip of the upcoming episode, Cookie will be sharing a passionate kiss with Lucious' bud, Malcolm. Avid viewers know Malcolm as the head of Lucious' security. Does this mean Cookie is up to something? Or, is she just smitten by Derek Luke's Malcolm? "I can't stop thinking about you," Malcolm tells Cookie in the teaser clip.
Aside from Cookie's alleged budding romance,"Empire" season 1 episode 10 will also feature Andre's psychological problem. Spoilers reveal that Andre will have a breakdown moment in the all-new episode. Despite this Lucious will still pretty much have his sons' loyalty, especially after he reconciled with Jamal.
Other things to watch out for in the brand new episode are of course the show-stopping performances of the talents at Empire Entertainment. Last week, Fox already revealed the list of big guest stars who are going to grace the show with stunning performances.
Earlier in the series, Lee Daniels already introduced Mary J. Blige, Courtney Love, Gladys Knight, Estelle and Jennifer Hudson. This week, Blige and Hudson will be back for heartwarming song numbers. Joining them are Rita Ora, Patti Labelle and Snoop Dogg.
The official synopsis of the upcoming episode reads: "Andre forms a new musical relationship with Michelle, and a woman from Lucious' past, Angie, comes into the picture. Meanwhile, Lucious invites the whole family over to his home. However, everyone arrives with their own agendas. Hakeem, under the influence of Camilla, sets out to show his father that he's a true artist and a good businessman. Then, Cookie prepares to state her own agenda for Empire and for her family, when Olivia arrives."
