’19 Kids And Counting’ Star Jill Duggar Begins LABOR! Husband Derick Dillard And Family Excited To Welcome Baby

"19 Kids and Counting" star Jill Duggar will soon enough become a mother as she has reportedly entered the labor period before her baby arrives. The 23-year-old is said to be experience labor pains right now while her husband, Derick Dillard, is feeling the excitement of finally meeting their first bundle of joy.

On the couple's latest blog post on their website, The Dillards, Derick expressed his anticipation for their son and he also paid tribute to his wife, who bravely faced pregnancy.

On Apr. 3, Derick detailed his feelings on his wife's labor and the imminent arrival of their firstborn.

"My wife, Jill, is beginning to have contractions which means that the birth of our son is near," the proud father-to-be wrote in the post he titled "Jill's Labor and My Understanding of the Bible."

Derick then tried to explain the excitement he is feeling now that he will soon enough get to see his baby face-to-face.

"I can't even describe right now the anticipation I am feeling, as I am about to get to meet my firstborn son for the first time face to face,"  Derick wrote. "So many people have already testified that nothing can quite describe that moment and that I'll just have to experience it for myself. When I look around, I can see new life everywhere. The trees are budding, which means summer is near."

As expected from Dillard, he cited a passage from the Bible to convey his understanding of welcoming a son to the world.

"In Matthew 24, Jesus uses the pictures of both a laboring mother and a budding fig tree in spring to relate to people how events surrounding the last days of earth 'end times events' (i.e. famine, wickedness, false teaching, rumors of war, the testimony of Jesus going to all the world) will transpire," he wrote. "If you don't know Jesus, and your uncertainty of the end of the world scares you, I urge you to consider the words of Jesus, repent of your sin, and live your life for God," he stated.

"From what I've learned in birth class (as well as from Jill, who is a student midwife) and from what I am witnessing right now with Jill, labor pains start sporadically and then become more consistent, longer lasting, and stronger the closer we get to the birth of our son," he added.

About five months ago, Jill and Derick revealed that as they began to count the days until the birth of their baby, they found out that there firstborn is going to be a boy, Entertainment Tonight reports.

Meanwhile, since it's the Holy Week, insiders revealed that the devout Duggar family is currently hoping that Jill's baby would arrive on Easter Sunday.

The mom-to-be has also previously revealed that she is expecting her baby to arrive on Apr. 5, since according to her "first-time moms often go a week and a half over" their original due date.
