NASA Alien Life News: Strong Indications Give Humans Hope Of Finding Life Outside Earth

NASA Alien Life News - A NASA chief has announced that humans are close to finding life outside the earth than many people think.

Ellen Stefon, NASA's chief scientist revealed Tuesday that there is a big chance that there are alien life forms out there and that man is already close in establishing connection with them, reports CNN.

"I think we're going to have strong indications of life beyond Earth within a decade," Stefon said, adding, "and I think we're going to have definitive evidence within 20 to 30 years."

The NASA scientist, who gushed about the bold prediction during a panel discussion on water in the universe, also claimed that they already know where to look to find this alien life forms.

"We know where to look. We know how to look," she said. "In most cases, we have the technology, and we're on a path to implementing it. And so I think we're definitely on the road."

NASA's alien life news comes amid the space agency's recent discoveries that there are planets out there with water, such as the dwarf planet Ceres and Jupiter's Europa.

However, Stefon admitted that the future discovery won't be similar to how most of us expect it to be. It won't be Star Trek-like since NASA is only perceiving microorganisms and not something that has a body, limbs and head, according to CNET.

"We are not talking about little green men," Stefon clarified. "We are talking about little microbes."

Former astronaut and associate administrator for the NASA's Science Mission Directorate, John Grunsfeld, also agrees with Stefon.

"I think we're one generation away in our solar system, whether it's on an icy moon or on Mars, and one generation [away] on a planet around a nearby star," Grunsfeld said during the discussion

For many years now, NASA scientists have been searching for extraterrestrial life in the universe, so it would be a dream come true for humans if Stefon's statements would be realized in the near future.
