He graduated from Klein High School in Spring, Texas in 1996, according to IMDb. Apparently, singer Lyle Lovett, writer Tom Vaughan, "E.R." actress Sherry Stringfield, "John Carter" star Lyn Collins, and "The Hobbit: Desolation of the Smaug" actor Lee Pace also went to the same school.

2. Bomer is a distant cousin of a former 'N Sync member.

Believe it or not, he is the distant cousin of Justin Timberlake. They are both descendants of Edward Bomer, who was born in 1960. He also played a supporting role in Timberlake's film "In Time" with Amanda Seyfried, according to Tribute.

3. Bomer lost forty pounds for a movie role.

Bomer played the role of Felix Turner, a reporter, in "The Normal Heart", who wanted to expose the truth about AIDs crisis to both the government and gay community. He had to lose forty pounds for that role, which was not easy at all. Filming had to even stop between July and November 2013 just to give him time to lose such weight.
