Hank Basket Says He Had A Hard Time Opening Up To Kendra Wilkinson, Family About His Cheating Scandal With A Transgender Model

Hank Baskett is coming clean about his cheating past. The 32-year-old former NFL player has opened up on the events that led to that moment when transgender model Ava London fondled him through his basketball shorts.

In an exclusive interview with People, a teary-eyed Hank Baskett admitted that he "messed up" in 2014 when he cheated on his wife Kendra Wilkinson while she was eight months pregnant.

"I put myself in a bad situation. And everything through me brought pain upon this family," Baskett said of his cheating scandal.

Baskett revealed in the tell-all that he was out to buy some pot when the incident happened. He said he asked the seller if he could use the restroom in the latter's home, but he was taken aback when he saw two transgender women making out.

"I froze," he said before adding that he didn't engage in anything while London fondled him. "It was like a bank robbery. You never know when you'll freeze. I don't know if it was a couple of seconds or 15 seconds, because all I was saying was get out, get out, get out," he added, Daily Mail has learned.

The former football wide receiver then said that he had a hard time opening up about that moment to his wife, family and friends. "I was this big former football player. I was the alpha male. I could do anything to protect my family but I couldn't protect myself," he said.

Contrary to London's claim that they engaged in mutual masturbation, Baskett vehemently denied that he touched the transgender model and even sought out for her after finding her photos on the Web.

He said, "It's hard to defend yourself when people are making up lies. You never know what someone is going to make up [next]."

Obviously the damage has been done, especially when Wilkinson "went ballistic" after learning about the incident through the media, just five weeks after she gave birth to Alijah, now 13 months.

Thankfully, unlike other Hollywood couples who end up filing for divorce without trying their best to make things work, Baskett nipped the problem in the bud by having the courage to speak with Wilkinson in all honesty, while the latter took time to listen and understand her husband's side.

Today, the "Kendra on Top" star and Baskett are going strong after months of counselling and therapy.

"I'm finding the trust again. And I'm actually very happy Hank went through this now because he's able to teach his son and his daughter what it's like to make a mistake and what you do after making a mistake," Wilkinson said.

Meanwhile, it appears that relationship issues continue to plague the former Playboy Playmate after Holly Madison dished about her falling out with Wilkinson in her new memoir, according to The Hollywood Gossip.

In Madison's book, she attacked Wilkinson saying that the latter was incredibly jealous and that even Basket preferred other Playmates over his own wife.

Hence, it is not surprising that Wilkinson is hitting back at Madison. "I don't ever want to have a relationship with Holly again, and I made a huge mistake by thinking what we had was real," Kendra said of  her "Girls Next Door" co-star.

The proud mother of two went on to say, "A lot of stuff was done out of like, 'Oh, we gotta stick together to make this certain image last,' but then I realized I am a different person. We aren't sisters, we never were. We just dated the same guy at the same damn time."
