Brody Jenner seems to be more comfortable in having Caitlyn Jenner around. Speaking of which, the 31-year-old reality television star candidly admits that his dad's transition from being Bruce to Caitlyn is remarkably incredible.
As his father finally started living in public as a woman last month, Brody Jenner has nothing but love and support for Caitlyn. Despite his speedy acceptance of the transition, he admitted that it wasn't really that easy for him, Seattle Pi has learned.
"I'm not gonna sit here and say that it was the easiest thing in the world; it opened my eyes to a lot of different things - to be open and be understanding," Brody said. "Everybody's going through their own little struggles and you got to be open and you got to just accept."
As Caitlyn continues to paint the town red, with a jam-packed schedule to win a whole new generation of fans and making her first public appearance in New York, her son Brody Jenner feels so happy for her, Extra revealed.
"I've known Bruce for a long time and I didn't really get along with Bruce," Brody thought about his dad. "Caitlyn I get along with a little more because Caitlyn is actually who she really is and she's living her life finally now as the person that she always was."
Brody Jenner also added that Caitlyn is a much freer and happier person. And for him, the most important thing to learn under similar circumstances is to be unafraid of being yourself.
"Be yourself," he continued. "And if you're not accepted by your family, there will be people who will accept you."
And on his thoughts about his dad's transition? Brody Jenner told E! News that it was incredible and was probably one of the most historical things that had occurred in their lives.
Meanwhile, as Caitlyn prepares for the airing of her eight-part documentary series titled, "I Am Cait," her son Brody Jenner is also busy for his upcoming show, "Sex with Brody." While he doesn't claim to be a sex expert, the model-turned-television star admits he's more of an "enthusiast."
