Nick Cannon’s Lupus-Like Autoimmune Disease Threatens His Life; Cannon’s Kids And Mariah Carey Nowhere To Be Found?

Three years after a fatal health episode, Nick Cannon, who has a lupus-like autoimmune disease, was back at the hospital again on Wednesday. And on the same day, the "America's Got Talent" host posted a picture of him in the hospital with a caption telling his fans he is doing okay.

In 2012, Nick Cannon first found out that he had a lupus-like autoimmune disease. His doctors told him that it was something he would have to learn to live with and manage. According to Daily Mail, the 34-year-old host was hospitalized in January 2012 after suffering kidney failure. But after a couple of weeks, he was re-admitted in the hospital with life-threatening blood clots in his lungs.

"It's a rare form of lupus that's just attacking my kidneys," Cannon told "GMA" in 2012, ABC News quoted, "They thought it was just kidney disease, and then they were trying to figure out why my immune system was attacking my kidneys and that was sort of the root of it all."

During the first hospital admission, Nick Cannon was with ex-wife Mariah Carey, who he had split from in 2014. The former lovers were in Aspen, Colorado for their Christmas and New Year holiday when he was rushed to the hospital on Jan. 4, 2012, due to mild kidney failure. At that time, Carey even tweeted a photo of herself with Cannon while in the hospital.

Since Nick Cannon was hospitalized Wednesday due to his lupus-like autoimmune disease, the father of two admitted that he hasn't been taking care of his health lately as he needs to. Meanwhile, Mariah Carey's ex-husband shared a photo to his fans and told them not worry about his latest hospital stint.

"Don't worry, Temporary pit stop... Sometimes I can be a little too bull headed and stubborn," Cannon captioned his Instagram post, "I gotta stop running my body to the ground. I be wanting to grind nonstop but the engine can't run on fumes. On the low though, I really think I'm a super hero... Now I'm not saying I'm Batman, but I am saying nobody has ever seen me and Batman in the same room together. LOL #ImGood."

During Nick Cannon's admission, Mariah Carey and their kids Morrocan and Monroe were not seen beside him at the hospital. However, over the past weekend, Cannon shared a photo of him and his kids on Instagram after picking them up from summer school.

In other news, Nick Cannon's ex Mariah Carey has a new neck sparkler. TMZ revealed Carey's new lover James Parker gave the 18-karat yellow heart-shaped diamond necklace on Wednesday night, the same day Cannon was hospitalized.

As reported, Parker gave the "new heart" to Mariah Carey right before she went on stage for her Caesars Palace show in Las Vegas. Carey's very stunning accessory is worth $500,000, Daily Mail reported.
