'Divergent-Allegiant' UPDATE: Stars Theo James And Shailene Woodley Hounded By DATING Rumors; Theo James And Girlfriend Ruth Kearney Split?

Where there's smoke, there's fire.

Rumors that "Divergent-Allegiant" stars Theo James and Shailene Woodley are dating just won't die down. Team Sheo fans are just relentlessly pushing for the two celebrities to make their on-screen romance into a reality. It cannot be denied that aside from followers of author Veronica Roth's book, the success of "Divergent" on the big screen was primarily because of the smoldering chemistry between Theo James and Shailene Woodley. The sexiness they exude in their scenes as Four and Tris respectively, and the contained feelings waiting to explode was delivered perfectly by the pair.

Naturally, since "Divergent-Allegiant" started filming in Georgia again, Theo James and Shailene Woodley will be in the spotlight and every move they make and every word that comes out of their mouths will be given different interpretations. Nevertheless, rumors don't survive if there's some truth to it, don't you think?

According to Master Herald, "Divergent-Allegiant" Theo James' brushed aside the rumors that his and girlfriend Ruth Kearney's relationship was on the rocks because of Shailene Woodley and stated that he just regards Shailene Woodley highly because of the fact that she knows how to take care of herself and is a confident woman. He also highly respects her level of professionalism while filming "Divergent," "Insurgent" and, now, "Allegiant."

He said, "I like confident women. It's probably because I grew up with four strong women — my mother, grandmother and two sisters," as per his interview with Belfast Telegraph.

Theo James also acknowledged the fact that Shailene Woodley is dating Nahko Bear, so it's largely impossible for him to be in a relationship with her.

If Theo James tried his best to downplay the rumor, Shailene Woodley also currently spent a lot of time with Bear, as per Movie News Guide. Apparently, Bear's sister, Xnikulit posted on social media her brother's activities together with Shailene Woodley a few months ago.

But not even that can dispel the speculations that "Divergent-Allegiant" stars Theo James and Shailene Woodley are dating.

Meanwhile, although there's limited information about the movie plot for "Divergent-Allegiant," Theo James confessed that Four will have a couple of intimate scenes with Shailene Woodley's Tris.

Now, how can they be not into each other if they have a closeness like that? Surely, fans of Team Sheo will have a field day if and when that time comes that what they have been wishing and hoping for would come true. Remember Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in "Twilight?" They denied they were together while filming but later on admitted they were. (The two are no longer an item, though) So, maybe there's hope.

In other news, despite not knowing the path which "Divergent-Allegiant" will take, one thing is certain. The ending of the movie will follow that of the book's.

According to Veronica Roth, she and the producers of "Divergent-Allegiant" decided to pay homage to the original storyline.

Roth also discussed why Tris does not belong to all the factions — Dauntless, Abnegation, Candor, Erudite and Amity, even if she's the heroine of the story.

"Well, the reason she's not in all five factions is just because she's not superhuman. She's got flaws, and those need to be reflected in the way that she's appealing to the factions," said Roth, as per Realty Today.

"Divergent-Allegiant" Part 1 starring Theo James and Shailene Woodley will hit United States theaters on March 18, 2016, while "Divergent-Allegiant" Part 2 is set for March 24, 2017.
