'Divergent - Allegiant' Actress Kate Winslet Tells Bear Grylls — 'I Only Heard Negatives About Body Image'

You've seen her flaunting her curvaceous body in the box office hit "Titanic," but actress Kate Winslet has recently revealed that she's never had positive reinforcement in the body image department.

The "Divergent - Allegiant" star appeared on the latest episode of "Running Wild With Bear Grylls," and the 39-year-old Hollywood star revealed that she has also struggled when it comes to her body image, according to Us Weekly.

"When I grew up, I never heard positive reinforcement about body image from any female in my life," Winslet tells Grylls in the July 27 episode of the NBC show.

Winslet, who is now a mother of three, continued to share that it was as if she was programmed to judge herself based on looks.

"I only heard negatives. That's very damaging, because then you're programmed as a young woman to immediately scrutinize yourself and how you look," she added.

It appears that Kate Winslet does not want this to happen to her kids that's why she said that she's using a different approach when it comes to her children, especially her 14-year-old girl, Mia.

"I stand in front of the mirror and say to Mia, 'We are so lucky we have a shape. We're so lucky we're curvy. We're so lucky we've got good bums,'" the "Allegiant" star said. "And she'll say, 'Mommy, I know, thank God.'"

Meanwhile, apart from gushing about body image, Kate also took the time to relive her days as "Titanic" character Rose DeWitt Bukater.

In the episode with host Bear Grylls, Winslet took the opportunity to channel her inner Rose as she shouted, "Jack, I feel like I'm flying!" while scaling a cliff, Today has learned.

Of course Grylls offered to play Leonardo DiCaprio's part by asking the actress, "Kate, do you trust me?"

Close to bursting into laughter, Winslet said the memorable line, "You jump, I jump, right?" to Grylls before getting back on to her task of successfully going to the bottom of the cliff.

"Running Wild with Bear Grylls" is famous for challenging celebrities to a 48-hour journey into some of the wildest places in the United States and across the world.

Other stars who already signed on to appear on he show are James Marsden, Michelle Rodriguez, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, "Fantastic Four" star Michael B. Jordan, "Hangover" actor Ed Helms, Super Bowl QB Drew Brees and last week's guest Kate Hudson, according to Daily Mail.
