‘NBA 2K16’ News, Release Date & Gameplay: New My League, MyGM, MyTeam, Pro-Am Details Leaked [WATCH TRAILER]

A new leak about the upcoming "NBA 2K16" reveals new details regarding the game's different modes including MyGM, MyPark and MyLeague.

In addition, the leak suggests the game will feature a new mode called Pro-AM.

According to a screenshot obtained by Operation Sports, the upcoming game's MyGM mode will let gamers step into the shoes of an NBA team's general manager. As the GMs, they are responsible for the welfare of their basketball players and keeping team owners happy.

They will also get to manage the finances for the team as well as the pricing trend of concession stand products and game tickets.

The MyLeague mode, on the other hand, which was first introduced in "NBA 2K15," will let gamers fully customize their own NBA season. They can set the number of basketball games they want to play in and even remove the salary cap of their athletes.

Also, through the mode's online feature, they can connect with their friends and play entire seasons together.

In MyPark, the mode features three distinct cities that are home to different street-basketball teams. Each team has its own personality and playing style. Gamers will then get to choose which team and city they will play for.

The game's newest feature, dubbed as the 2K Pro-Am, pits gamers against each other in a 5-on-5 basketball match. Using the characters they have created and customized through the MyPlayer mode, they can form a team and play against other members of the 2K Pro-Am community. The rankings of players and teams will then be displayed through the game's League Leaders board, Design & Trend reported.

"NBA 2K16" is set to debut on Sept. 29 for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows platforms. The game features Anthony Davis, Stephen Curry and James Harden as its three cover athletes.

Those who pre-order the game will be able to play it as early as Sept. 25. In addition, "NBA 2K16" has an exclusive pre-order package called the Michael Jordan Special Edition which includes a variety of in-game items from the legendary basketball player, according to Vine Report.

For the next installment in the "NBA 2K" franchise, publisher 2K sports has enlisted the help of award-winning director Spike Lee to oversee its MyCareer mode. Under his direction, the game is set to feature a more realistic storyline.
