'Hold On, We're Going Home' Singer Drake Fires Back At Nicki Minaj's Boyfriend Meek Mill With 'Harder' Rap Comeback

Canadian rapper and singer Drake has thrown another punch at Meek Mill with his latest tweet — a SoundCloud link that set the internet on fire.

On Wednesday at 4:33 am, the "Hold On, We're Going Home" hitmaker tweeted a celebratory shot from Toronto's win against Philadelphia in the 1993 World Series — the team's second consecutive victory, back-to-back — which matched his nasty retaliation rap "Back To Back Freestyle" aimed at his detractors, especially his current enemy, NBC News reported.

Drake's new diss track is the artist's latest jab at rapper Meek Mill, who accused him of ghostwriting his "R.I.C.O." feature for Meek's recently released album "Dreams Worth More Than Money."

The spat between Drake and Meek of Toronto and Philadelphia, respectively, which is now considered as summer's best beef, started when the latter tweeted on July 22 an allegation that the former does not write his own raps.

"Stop comparing drake to me too.... He don't write his own raps!  That's why he ain't tweet my album because we found out!" Nicki Minaj's boyfriend wrote.

His accusations of Drake got fans and the rest of the social media users question the rapper's talents as well as the authenticity of his works.

Meek continued to slam Drake tweeting, "Kendrick and j cole really know how to rap even tho they in different lanes .... Dude is all the way outta of it lol."

"He ain't even write that verse on my album and if I woulda knew I woulda took it off my album..... I don't trick my fans! Lol," he added.

Drake stayed silent about the issue for days, until he dropped a bomb Saturday night — a diss track titled "Charged Up" during his OVO Sound radio show on Beats 1, according to The Verge.

Meek, who called the track "baby lotion soft" was expected to release a rebuttal on New York's Hot 97 Monday night, but for some reason failed to come up with one.

And so Drizzy took the chance to drop a much "harder" comeback in the form of his new rap "Back to Back Freestyle," which at one point addresses his detractors saying, "This for y'all that think that I don't write enough / They just mad 'cause I got the Midas touch."

In another verse, he pointed at Meek specifically, referring to his opening act on Nicki Minaj's tour rapping, "You love her then you gotta get a world tour. Is that a world tour or your girl's tour? I know that you gotta be a thug for her / This ain't what she meant when she told you to open up more," as per Entertain This.

With Drake's two consecutive blows, Meek better come up with a much better diss.
