Andrew Quarless 2015 SHOCKER: Green Bay Packers Coach Says Tight End Is Having ‘A Very Difficult Family Situation' After Daughter’s Death At Birth

Green Bay Packers player Andrew Quarless is in a difficult situation right now in his family life. The 26-year-old tight end received a terrible news last week when his daughter died at birth.

On Monday, Quarless tried his best to fight back tears when he announced that his newborn daughter died last Wednesday, according to USA Today.

The sad news came just days after Quarless missed the beginning of training camp. On Friday, coach Mike McCarthy may have already known about the death of the tight end's daughter when he told the media that Andrew was "dealing with a very difficult, extremely difficult family situation."

A day prior, McCarthy was singing a different tune when he noted that Quarless only skipped Thursday's training due to "a positive personal situation."

Over the weekend, Quarless managed to participate in the training camp albeit taking part on a limited basis only.

However, he was overcame by his emotions when family members and his 5-year-old son watched the practice session of the Green Bay Packers at the start of the week, according to Fox Sports.

Quarless said, "It's the saddest day of my life. I thank this team for the type of support they have given me to help me get through this. Just very thankful for these guys. It's really a family in here."

He then went on to say: "I (was) looking forward my first day getting back out there today. It felt real good. It felt real good just to get out there, catch some passes, be able to run around a little bit, kind of get back to your old self and get back into things."

"The most important thing was my son was able to come out there. He was really looking forward to being a big brother," Quarless said. "Today was rough. I'm a little drained. I was drained the past couple of days. ... being around my teammates having fun and actually smile, actually to smile and be happy, that was good for me," the Green Bay Packers tight end finally said.

Prior to this shocker, Quarless also faced a serious situation when he got arrested in Miami for firing a handgun at a parking garage amid an altercation among women.

Andrew Quarless has yet to hear from the NFL about the repercussions of his offseason arrest, Yahoo Sports has learned. However, he may not be thinking about this yet as he is more focused on moving on while doing his best at practice.
