"Dancing with the Stars" Season 21 is set to premiere soon and rumors about its casting have been running rampant lately. But who will dance next in the hit ABC reality dance showdown?
There have been a lot of celebrity names that have surfaced to allegedly join the "Dancing with the Stars" Season 21. No confirmations have been made so far but here are the 9 persistent celeb names in the rumor mill of the upcoming "DWTS" season.
1. Shay Mitchell
In her monthly YouTube Q&A session late last month, the 28-year-old "Pretty Little Liars" actress told her fans that she would love to do "DWTS." She even said that she would prefer to be partnered with Valentin Chmerkovskiy, who is the current Mirrorball Trophy winner.
"I would love to do 'Dancing with the Stars.' I love that show," Mitchell told her fans. "I follow it every single season, as do my parents."
2. Kaitlyn Bristowe
During a guest appearance on "Live with Kelly and Michael," the recent "Bachelorette" lead expressed her excitement to compete in "Dancing with the Stars" Season 21 as long as she will get to spend some time with fiancé, Shawn Booth.
3. Donald Trump
The presidential hopeful and business magnate has also been rumored to join the upcoming season of "DWTS," which will premiere this fall. However, this remains to be a rumor at the moment, Ecumenical News noted.
4. Anthony Davis
Since the NBA star's name surfaced to join the "DWTS" casting, he has promptly denied the speculations.
5. Caitlyn Jenner
The 65-year-old transgender rights advocate is also rumored to be one of the cast of "Dancing with the Stars" Season 21. However, Cait's publicist denied the speculations, International Business Times reported.
"There is not nor have there ever been any negotiations on this matter," Jenner's publicist told ET Online last month. "They inquired if she was interested in participating in the show and I said, 'No, thank you.' That is the extent of the communication."
Meanwhile, the next 5 celeb names are based on the speculations in the IMDB message boards of "Dancing with the Stars" Season 21. Take note, they may have little to no merit at all.
6. Rob Kardashian
As Rob continues to struggle with his weight loss, International Business Times reported in May that Rob is considering a "Dancing with the Stars" comeback to help remedy his massive weight gain.
7. Demi Moore
Since Moore's daughter Rumer Willis is the Season 20's winner, fans are excited and would want to see Demi competing on the "DWTS" dance floor.
"The only one of those I'd want to watch is Demi Moore," one fan commented.
8. Nina Nobrev
Fans would love to see the former "Vampire Diaries" star and they want them to be paired with ex-lover Derrick Hough.
9. Nick Lachey
"DWTS" has reportedly asked Nick but he allegedly turned the invitation down in at least two occasions.
"Dancing with the Stars" Season 21 is set to premiere on ABC on Sept. 14.
