‘Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 3’ SPOILERS: Cast Hint Their Characters’ Fates; Agents Skye, Simmons Precede ‘Inhuman’ Film Main Story?

"Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." ended its second season with a lot of casualties and more questions. Luckily, the cast hinted their avid viewers with their characters' fate for season 3.

First up, Director Phil Coulson. To cut the story short, Director Coulson, played by Clark Gregg, lost his arm following the war with Inhumans led by Skye's mother, Jiaying, according to Vine Report. The move was to save the director of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D" from the deadly effects of Terrigen Crystal.

Talking about the fate of the character, Gregg spoiled, "The thing about the Marvel Universe is, even if you don't have a hand, you can rest assured, you're going to get one."

The last few minutes of the second season finale of "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D" may have shown an armless Coulson, but with what Gregg just said, it seems that he will have his arm back soon enough.

"I do know that he starts off with a kind of prosthetic, and I have a feeling it's not the last prosthetic you'll see," he added.

That was quite intriguing. That said, are fans going to expect him to lose more body parts in the upcoming season? — hope not.

Luke Mitchell, who plays the role of the Inhuman Lincoln Campbell, says that his character is in the gray area, and that he is dangerous. He told the Comic Book Resources that Campbell's relationship with S.H.I.E.L.D. was kind of rocky.

He was also asked about what his character's relationship with Skye and where it was heading. He admitted that there's definitely a chemistry between them in season two, and the connection will remain in season three.

Meanwhile, it wasn't clear where Agent Simmons was taken after she was sucked into the Kree monolith. However, Breathe Cast learned that her fate will be unveiled soon.

Elizabeth Henstridge, who played Simmon's role, hinted TV Line on what appeared to be an exciting for her Agent Simmons when she said she never thought the production would go that far.

Henstridge did not give additional details, but left the fans in a curious state when she said that Simmons' experiences would transform her.

"Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D" will be more about Inhumans and less Hydra. Speculations emerged that it will also concentrate on the formation of the Secret Warriors.

Additional rumors suggested that there is a possibility that Simmons and Skye's experiences will initiate the preceding main story of "Inhumans," an upcoming Marvel film slated for 2019.

"Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D" season 3 will return on ABC on Sept. 29.
