iPad Pro For Late 2015 Release? Rumors Of Intel Powering The Device Slammed

It may not be too late to release the rumored iPad Pro this year as ValueWalk learned from a Taiwanese website that Apple's newest tablet might enter the production before the Q3 of 2015 ends, and will proceed to its mass production in the Q4 of 2015.

iPad Pro is reportedly intended for professionals. The device is expected to work in the corporate world, hence, the "pro" at the end of its name.

Its concept suggests that the gadget will bridge the gap between Apple's tablets and MacBook laptop series, and many have this notion that the tablet will use Intel processors under its hood.

This speculation, however, was slammed by The Motley Fool.

There was a published article on Seeking Alpha, which is convinced that the ideal processor for iPad Pro is Core M or Core i5, and that it should run on OS X.

The Motley Fool explained that the OS X runs on Intel x86 chips, while iOS runs on Apple's a-chips. These two, according to the site, are built entirely on different interface foundations.

Additionally, it was explained that OS X didn't have a first party support for touchscreen. Meanwhile, the iOS reportedly could not run on x86 architecture.

Furthermore, it was stated that Apple was explicit about keeping the two platforms separate. Anything that will deviate from that will entail significant comprise the company isn't willing to take.

The debate for the iPad Pro's under the hood specs may have been ongoing for quite a while now. However, the good thing about this is it gives the readers and consumers more insights about the product.

What's certain though is that we will know more once the product is officially released. On the other side of the story, it seems that accessories for Apple devices are currently on sale, and the list can be checked out on 9to5Mac.

Meanwhile, DigiTimes reported that iPad Pro would feature displays from Sharp. On the other hand, Foxconn Group General Interface Solution will take on the touch modules and LCM assembly.

Apple will unveil iPhone's next-gen handsets on Sept. 9, and many tablet users are hoping that the event will also include the announcement of iPad Pro.
