Scarlett Johansson Vs. Grégoire Delacourt; 'Avenger' Failed To Have GD's Novel Banned; Hot Revelations About Her Husband And Baby

Scarlett Johansson reportedly failed to have Gregoire Delacourt's novel entitled "The First Thing You See" banned after suing the author. Meanwhile, the "Avengers" star shared some hot revelation about her husband and their baby on the way.

Johansson sued Delacourt for "fraudulent and illicit use of her name, fame and image for commercial gain," as Independent reported. However, book publishers Weidenfeld & Nicolson will be able to release the translated version in hard copies and ebooks within U.K. on Sept. 10.

Notably, its French title "La première chose qu'on regarde" (The First Thing We Look At) was supposedly a "declaration of love" for the Black Widow, but the author was surprised that she responded with a lawsuit.

"It freaks me out to think that when you talk of a character in a novel, judges can get involved. It's rather sad," Delacourt exclaimed. More than that, his lawyer JC Lattes cited the allegations as "very scandalous."

Additionally, the publisher's spokeswoman also said that the controversial novel is not about Johansson herself, but about her double. Even before the novel's release, they seemed to make it clear that they did not cite Johansson by name and the character is just a spitting image of her.

Though the controversial book is set to be published, the French court granted Johansson's lawsuit in €2,500 cost of damages with a further €2,500 in legal costs.

Johansson is yet to comment on the news.

Meanwhile the Marvel's "Black Widow" revealed on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" that working while pregnant seemed easier for her, as cited from Guardian. She explained that unlike other women, she was lucky enough not to experience severe morning sickness and other pregnancy symptoms.

As for her husband Romain Dauriac, she explained that it "takes a lot of work" but "is blessed with a man who is confident in love and confident in the position of his own career."

Johansson has been a part of the "Avengers" as Black Widow. But in the recent Movie Pilot article, they somewhat hinted that she could have a standalone spin-off in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Could it be possible? Well, lets keep an eye for the updates.
