According to a separate Daily Mail report, the so-called "Middleton Rules," which was drafted so Kate won't suffer the fate of Princess Diana, emerged immediately right after the royal couple's wedding and the rules apply to all aspects of their lives including raising their children Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
With Kate Middleton's absence from a wedding event last Saturday, media outlets speculated that the "Middleton Rules" applied. However, the Duchess of Cambridge was also noticeably missing in other public functions while husband Prince William was visibly and socially attending several bachelor parties. That's why some assumed that the couple is sorting out some marital issues.
This was not the first time that Kate Middleton and Prince William experienced some troubles in paradise. In fact, they had a month-long separation during Kate's second pregnancy. But the royals were quick to hide the problem with a cover story of hyperemesis gravidarum. And with the Queen's intervention, the royal couple ditched their marital woes and publicly appeared with a united front.

The reason behind her absence on several public events was linked to her unpreparedness to return to active duty. The Duchess of Cambridge will not also join in the tour with Prince William until she is fully ready.
