‘Scorpion’ Season 2 [LATEST NEWS]: Promotional Photos REVEALED! New Issue Arising Amid Complicated Relationship, Post-Love Confession?

It's all about romance as "Scorpion" Season 2 returns on television this month. Aside from Paige and Walter's love story, a new issue is reported to emerge in the upcoming season of CBS' hit action-drama series. While a series of promotional photos has been released by the network.

In "Scorpion" Season 1, Walter (Elyes Gabel) fought for his life after he was placed in a morphine-induced coma. While Paige (Katharine McPhee) sorted out her feelings and finally admitted she is in love with Walter. She even kissed him while he was unconscious in the hospital, as previously reported.

"Scorpion" Season 2, on the other hand, will depict some of the awkward moments between timid lovers Paige and Walter. As seen in the first few images shared by TVLine, showrunner Nick Santora hinted that the two are for a complicated relationship, after they were photographed having a tense scene with each other.

"Walter, of course, is very analytical and practical, and he and Paige decide, 'OK, this is what we're going to do now that we know this,'" Santora said, as per Christian Post. "It's something that's going to reverberate throughout the season."

In addition to the complications of Walter and Paige's relationship, they also need to overcome a lot of hurdles. According to CarterMatt, Paige has to look out for someone other than herself while a variety of other people will need Walter and Team Scorpion.

"The new Director of Homeland Security reunites the team when a nuclear powered Russian satellite is knocked out of orbit and must be diverted before it detonates over Southern California," "Scorpion" Season 2 Episode 1 official synopsis reads. "Also, Paige and Walter must face their feelings for each other after hospital footage reveals Paige kissed him."

"Scorpion" Season 2 is not going to stall in the slightest when it comes to bringing more action-filled scenes. But while Walter is still figuring things out, a rival in the form of Drew (Brendan Hines), the father of Ralph, Paige's son, will be returning in the series. Fortunately, Walter can take a breather since he won't be back until the second half of the season, Design & Trend noted.

"We haven't written a story for [him] yet, but potentially in the back half of the season, we'll bring him back," Executive producer Nick Wootton said.

For now, check out "Scorpion" Season 2 "Satellite of Love" photos on TV Fanatic while don't forget to tune in on CBS at 9 p.m. on Sept. 21 for the premiere episode of the series.
