After gaining weight over the years and battling depression, it seems that Rob Kardashian's photo shows him opening up a bit regarding his personal struggle and effort to make a change.

"Rob is always in," Gunnar Peterson his trainer, said, "He's slammed schedule-wise and still makes this work." Yahoo News has learned.

Peterson, even told People magazine that the younger Kardashian is committed to getting in shape.

Albeit slowly, Rob has been getting more and more visible in social media. The reality TV star was reported before to have deleted past tweets and Instagram posts on his account way back in 2014. Since then, Rob has updated them sporadically.

As reported by the Mirror, Rob has been tweeting about working out and even joining his sister, Kim Kardashian, on hikes and it seems that it has been producing positive results.

Unlike the rest of his family who does not shy away from the spotlight, Rob is keeping a fairly low profile and is rarely seen.

His sister Khloe has said earlier this year that Rob was having a difficult time and was suffering from social anxiety.

During Rob's self-imposed absence, he was reported to ditch attending Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's wedding due to his weight issues.

The Kardashian matriarch, Kris Jenner, also opened up about Rob's struggle with his issues. During an interview, she said that she is trying to be there for his son at his most sensitive time.

Kris Jenner said, "Rob is living in L.A. right now and he's doing well, finding out what makes him tick and struggling with some stuff," she said. "My job is to be there for him and to love him as hard as I can. Everybody goes through stuff."

But it seems now that everything's going well for Rob as evidenced by his latest Instagram post. His family and friends are hoping that he'll be okay for good.
